White marble.

Each piece of marble is one-of-a-kind, providing a sense of exclusivity when used in furniture. Marble pairs well with clean, modern designs that have simple and sleek lines. This is why it is an excellent choice for minimalistic pieces, as the natural veins and colors showcase the material's inherent beauty. Marble can be a great way to bring a touch of elegance to your home, and it is essential to ensure its longevity through proper care.

Accidents

  • Any spills of an acidic nature should be cleaned up immediately as marble is a porous material.
  • Coffee, tea, wine, juice, or ink stains: make a thick paste mixing baking soda and water and apply it directly over the stain. Keep it moist and saturated for 24 to 48 hours by covering the area with plastic wrap and closing the edges with tape that will not leave residue, such as painter’s tape. After 24 to 48 hours, remove the plastic wrap and wipe with a wet cloth. This may need to be repeated for stubborn stains.
  • Oily stains, hand lotions, or grease: Lightly coat with corn starch and let stand for 20 minutes. The corn starch should absorb the oil. Wipe with a soft cloth. Repeat if necessary.
  • For light scratches you can try using a soft cloth with water and some mild liquid detergent. Rub lightly, and dry thoroughly. This will only work for very fine surface scratches, for deeper scratches, consult with a professional.

Best Practices

  • Your piece comes already sealed, but it is advisable to reapply a sealant every six months or, at the very least, once a year. A good indication that it's time to seal it is when water no longer beads up on the surface.
  • Always use coasters or placemats under glasses or plates.

Avoid

  • Don’t use vinegar or bleach on your marble surface as they will eat into the marble and dull the stone.
  • Avoid using abrasive pads since they can scratch the surface.
  • Do not cut anything directly on your marble surfaces.
